CAVITY WALL INSULATION - ECOBEAD

With over 30% of heat loss through your external walls, cavity wall insulation offers a simple and cost effective means of reducing the heat loss through external walls provided there is a continuous cavity present. The majority of homes in Ireland were built with cavity wall construction since the 1930’s. Cavity wall insulation will:

• Significantly reduce heat loss during the winter months and result in smaller fuel bills,
• Result in an even temperature and more comfortable home,
• Prevent condensation on walls and ceilings,
• Reduces your carbon dioxide emissions, the biggest cause of climate change.

We used Kingspan Ecobead due to its market leading position in bead insulation for cavity walls.

CAVITY WALL INSULATION - SPRAYFOAM

Our spray foam insultation pour formulation is ideal for insulating cavity walls and confined spaces, insulates and air seals the complete cavity wall down to the smallest pinhole.

The pour fill version slowly expands within the cavity over a period of 3-5 minutes. During that process it will insulate and air seal the complete cavity wall down to the smallest pinhole. Open cell spray foam is also ideal for insulating cavities that are already partially filled with other insulation.

ATTIC INSULATION - SPRAYFOAM

With over 30% of heat loss through your attic and huge savings to be made this is the ideal starting point when upgrading your homes insulation. There are many different methods and products available for insulating your attic so you’re always best to seek professional experienced advice when choosing a product.

Our range of Spray foam is suited for homes that have numerous difficult attics to insulate and air seal, such as 1.5 storey and dormer style homes. Conventional insulations will not provide the same level of performance in these particular situations and crucially will not provide the high level of air tightness we deliver.

ATTIC INSULATION - LOFT ROLL

Knauf Insulation Loft Rolls are non-combustible insulation rolls made from Glass Mineral Wool. They are manufactured using our unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology, which offers better air quality and improved levels of comfort when handling our Loft Roll insulation. Knauf Insulation Loft Rolls are designed specifically for use in cold roofs where lofts are insulated at ceiling level.

They are offer excellent thermal performance and are partially cut, shorter length rolls for ease of installation.

FLOOR INSULATION

For timber floors, our range will deliver over 50% greater energy savings than any other roof insulation on the market. An application of 100-125mm to the underside of the floor deck will deliver a 95% heat flow reduction and will also allow the timber to breathe naturally beneath.

For non-timber floor projects, we use Mannock PIR and Kingspan Insulation. Floor insulation boards are lightweight and easy to handle and fit. These rigid insulation boards comply to all relevant industry standards and can help achieve excellent thermal performance.
