Insulation have embarked on a Green Energy programme.
The Western Insulation depot currently relies, like
most, on the national grid to provide the lighting,
heating and power for its facilities.
However,
the company is currently investing in a wind turbine
and solar panels to harness the natural wind and
solar energy. The company aims to be totally self-sufficient
by 2007.
In its drive to become increasingly environmentally friendly the
company is also investigating the conversion of its
vehicle fleet to run on hybrid fuels. |
